A little bit more busier this week with some high school hockey calls and one more game up in North Andover! Take a look at where you can find me this week!

Monday - Part of my freelancing includes helping out my hometown in Quincy as a public address announcer and DJ for some of the local high school athletic events. The Quincy High School Boys Hockey team welcomes Cambridge R&L to town for a late afternoon contest at Quincy Youth Arena. While I may not be on the mic for this game, I do have the privilege of taking care of the music and sound effects for this game.

Wednesday - I'm back on a broadcast on Wednesday afternoon for MyHockeyLive. I will be back at the canton Sportsplex for more Archbishop Williams Girls Ice Hockey as the Bishops welcome Notre Dame Academy (Hingham). The Archie's girls are playing great hockey. Talking to Head Coach Doug Nolan pregame on Saturday, he wanted to be more consistent on the offensive side of the ice. Well, his team certainly did that picking up a 5-0 win over out-of-state opponent ADK United. Archie's has won four straight and have posted shutouts in three straight. They'll be taking on a 5-1 NDA Cougars team that has 23 goals for and four goals against this season. Notre Dame Academy is also the third best girls team in the state. Both teams have combined for seven shutouts this season. It should be a great matchup on Wednesday night in Southeastern Mass.

Thursday - The week of broadcasts continues with another MyHockeyLive call in Malden as Pope Francis visits Malden Catholic at the Malden Valley Forum just outside the city of Boston. It's another game that features two teams in opposite directions. Malden Catholic has lost five in a row, they've scored five goals in that stretch combined, and they've been shutout twice. The Cardinals of Pope Francis are 8-1 and their one loss was to an out-of-state team in Game 1 of the season. Currently, they are the top-ranked boys team team in the state of Massachusetts. Interesting game on Thursday night in Malden.

Saturday - Matt O'Brien and I will bring you another game of Merrimack Women's Hockey at Lawler Arena on Saturday afternoon as the Merrimack Warriors wrap up their series with the Holy Cross Crusaders. Merrimack has dropped four straight heading into this weekend and while the offense put up numbers last Friday vs UNH, the defense surrendered five goals, including one power play and one shorthanded. They will take on a Holy Cross team that has lost five straight games, including an OT loss at Merrimack in their last matchup back in early December. The Crusaders have scored just one goal in their last four games and have been shutout in three of those games. It's a big series for both teams as the winner (assuming there is a sweep) can climb out of the standings and leave the loser behind. Join me and Matt on ESPN+ with puck drop scheduled for 3pm!
